Depression of Women and Remedies

Abstract
Depression is not so uncommon an ailment but people avoid seeking professional help as it has to do with treating depression. The purpose of this study is to propose of remedies for depression on the basis of feasibility which is carried out in local government.
Here, "GyeongGi Heartkeeper" project is proposed. The project is pass through three phases. First, social workers and the people who works for the vulnerable is educated for the qualification of the Gate-keeper. Education is important because the person needs to know that depression is just like any other ailment or medical condition that requires care and treatment. For the best result, obligation is needed for Social workers who employed in Healthy Family Support Center and Social welfare organs. Second, Local government should make a greater effort to distribute guidebook for self-diagnosis of depression to all the citizens. Third, network of all kinds of social welfare organs has to be established for finding patients and treatment of them. Typically, patients are treated with antidepressant medication and, in many cases, also receive psychotherapy or counseling.
